About the Finsbury Arts Festival
Friday 26 February - Sunday 28 February 2010
The Finsbury Arts Festival is back! Bigger and better than the first one in 2009, and well on course to becoming a popular and established date in the local calendar. This year’s programme of events is even more diverse and eclectic; there is sure to be something to do for everyone.
The Finsbury area of south Islington is an area steeped in history and surrounded by some of the world’s best-known arts venues such as the Barbican and Sadler’s Wells. In contrast, the Finsbury Arts Festival is a community-led grass-roots arts festival that celebrates art by local children, parents and other residents, groups and organisations.
Thank you
The Finsbury Arts Festival is delivered by St Luke’s Trust with a number of partners, funders and individuals who help make this community event possible.

CCLA and St Luke's Trust
CCLA has been helping charities build solid foundations for more than 50 years. Find out more about how our long term investment services can help your organisation to build for the future. CCLA offers free asset allocation advice to help trustees and investment committees fulfill their responsibilities.
With a history going back 450 years, St Luke’s Trust knows a thing or two about long-term growth. The charity’s mission is to improve the lives of people living around London’s Old Street, where the historical parish of St Luke’s lies. A sizeable endowment allows it to run a much-valued community centre, but it does depend on good investment practices to maintain its annual income.
“We’ve invested in CCLA’s COIF Charities Investment Fund for many years,” says chief executive Martyn Craddock. “We need an investment manager who understands the needs of charities like St Luke’s, and that’s what CCLA offers. Its strength is that it specialises in this sector, and can help us achieve the right balance of prudence and growth. After all, we have to consider not just our beneficiaries today, but also the people we might be serving in another 450 years.”
