Finsbury Arts Festival

The Finsbury Arts Festival embraces the local community, celebrating the arts with local children, parents, residents and other groups and organisations.

What's on

Friday

Pick up a paintbrush and make their mark on a giant ‘Paint your market’ canvas on Whitecross Street.

A banner parade led by Anna Berent, Mayor of Islington, with banners created by children from St Luke’s Primary School, officially opens the Festival.

Weekend

Exhibitions, art, photography, music and dance work shops, a performance from the Guildhall School of Music and comedy from Paul Lyalls, Adam Bloom and Markus Birdman. At the Turkish Family Night experience traditional Turkish culture with food, music and belly dancing.
